| New Guardian Pets have been added to Hero Plus! Please check the guide below for full details on the system. |
2. What is a Guardian Pet?
| Guardian Pets cannot attack or be attacked. When summoned, they grant stat increases and various additional effects to your character. |
| ✦ Guardian Pets are permanently set to Combat Avoidance. |
| ✦ Duplicate Guardian Pets of the same kind cannot be equipped or summoned at the same time. |
| ✦ A Guardian Pet effect is applied at 100% when placed in the Pet slot (main summon). |
| ✦ When equipped in Pet Equipment slots 1, 2, or 3, the effect is applied at only 50%. |
| ✦ All Guardian Pet effects currently applied to your character are shown together in the Pet Info window. |
| ✦ Guardian Pets can use the Guardian Socket Enhancement system via the Chi Craftsman NPC in Dragon Castle. |
| ✦ The Guardian Socket System works the same way as the Socket System for regular weapons and armor. However, only stats that already exist within a Guardian Pet base stats can be generated as Guardian Socket stats. |
e.g. If Yang Rabbit is placed in the main Pet slot, Yin Rabbit, Yang Rooster, and Yin Boar can each be equipped in the Pet Equipment slots since they are different kinds. However, Yang Rabbit cannot also be equipped in a Pet Equipment slot while already summoned as the main pet.
◎ Stat Bonuses Apply Only When Summoned
Your character stats will only increase while the Guardian Pet is actually summoned. After equipping the pet, press the T key to summon it. Please note that simply equipping the pet without summoning will not raise your stats.
When a Support-type Guardian Pet is equipped in a Pet Equipment slot, only 50% of its listed stats are applied.
Total applied = Main slot stats (100%) + Sub slot stats (50%)

※ Guardian Pet effects are only applied once the pet is summoned. Simply equipping it without summoning will not apply any effect.
※ Pets in Equipment slots 1, 2, or 3 cannot grant their effect on their own. A main pet must also be summoned.
※ The Monster Aggro effect only applies to the pet placed in the main Pet slot.
※ Guardian Pets cannot be used together with regular pets.
※ Guardian Pet effects do not apply to regular pet equipment items.
3. Guardian Pet Types and Stats
| Each Guardian Pet has its own unique stats based on its type and grade. |
4. Guardian Pet Grades
| Guardian Pet grades are ranked as follows: Awakened → Blessed → Exalted → Divine |
| ✦ Appearance differs by grade. |
| ✦ Higher grades have higher base stat values. |
| ✦ Higher grades unlock more Guardian Socket option slots. |

5. Guardian Socket Stats
| ✦ Guardian Socket stats can only be added from within the stat attributes the pet already possesses. |
| ✦ Specific materials are required to enhance them. |
| ✦ The value of a Guardian Socket stat scales with the pet own base stat value. |
How to Enhance
| Visit the Chi Craftsman NPC in Dragon Castle and use [Guardian Socket Essence] to enhance a Guardian Pet Guardian Socket stats. The required enhancement level of [Guardian Socket Essence] increases depending on the number of Guardian Socket slots. Special catalyst items can also be added during enhancement to grant special effects. |

6. How to Obtain
| Opening a [Guardian Chest] grants one random Guardian Pet of the matching grade. |

7. Disassembling Guardian Pets
| Only Permanent Guardian Pets can be disassembled. Disassembling grants [Guardian Soulstones] of the matching grade. |
