The long-awaited new map, “Dark Night,” has finally arrived!

Step into the shadowy depths of this new Dark Region and discover what awaits within Hero Plus.


# The Story

Fortunately, the Underworld Demon was eliminated from the world due to the Great Dragon Lord.

However slowly and steadily people started hearing rumors and were informed the Red Illusion cult followers started evil rituals around the world to try and resurrect the Red Illusion Sergeant again.

Many areas of the world has already became dark and covered with evil with a scent of death around the corner.

To stop this from happening the heroes and we should quickly eliminate all those who follow evil and stop the resurrection of not only the Red Illusion Sergeant but also the Underworld Demon.


# How to enter the map "Dark Night"

To enter the map, the players may only enter it through the world map’s night mode.

Activate the night mode on the world map and click on the dark night map. The leave the map is the same. Either open your world map and leave or find a portal within the map to leave.

# Special Features

The “Dark Night” map, as its name suggests, recreates the overwhelming darkness once spread by the Cult of Shadows during the summoning of the Red Illusion Sergeant.

Because of this darkness, your field of vision is severely limited, and you will only be able to see a short distance around your character.

♣ Dark Night Monsters
In the Dark Night regions, unlike normal areas, there is no limit to the number of monsters that can detect your character. The wider your visibility range, the larger the detection radius becomes for nearby monsters.

♣ Defense Stat Adjustment
Within the Dark Night map, all characters share a fixed defense value regardless of class.

Your defense stat is calculated as:
Defense = Character Level × 2 (Max: 500)

♣ Examples:
- A Level 200 character → Defense = 400
- A Level 258 character → Defense = 500 (maximum value)

♣Additional Notes:
- All armor bonuses and special equipment effects are disabled.
- This includes poison, confusion, and paralysis resistances.
- Only basic stats (STR/DEX/INT/LUK) and attack bonuses are applied.


# NPC Rumi & Candlelight
Each Dark Night Map has an NPC named Rumi, who manages the area. You can buy and sell necessary items through this NPC, or use them to move between Dark Maps.

In the Dark Night regions, unlike normal areas, there is no limit to the number of monsters that can detect your character. The wider your visibility range, the larger the detection radius becomes for nearby monsters.


# Dark Night Map

- In the Dark Night region, a calibrated defense value based on the character’s level is applied, instead of the character’s original defense stats. (This also applies to pets, while all other defensive or auxiliary attributes are disabled.)
※ The character’s original attack power still applies normally to monsters.
When a character or Spirit Beast dies within the Dark Night region, no EXP loss occurs.

- The following items cannot be used in the Dark Night region:
Location Map Book, Friend Summon Scroll, Group Summon Scroll, and Teleportation Scrolls.

- The Dark Night region is designated as a Conflict Zone (PvP-enabled area).

- Item drop conditions differ from those of normal regions.


# Drop Item

- Items obtained within the Dark Night region are dropped as Dark Night-exclusive Common.
- All special item acquisition conditions are disabled within the Dark Night region.
- All items dropped in this area are untradeable and can only be used by characters within the same account.

# ETC
- Dark Night items are independent from regular items.
- All advanced crafting, acquisition requirements, refinement, and conditional features from regular equipment do not apply to Dark Night items.
- These items can only be enhanced or crafted within the Dark Night region.
- Advanced synthesis for Dark Night items can be performed through the Dark Night Merchant NPC.
