  I am 170 STR, 30 DEX, rest INT at level 75.
  
  I have a clean BM pentachord with 3753 skill damage.
  
  I maxed 6003 with master skills.
  I usually hit about 4.5k on mobs.
  My lowest hits are usually running 2.5k to 3k. Occasionally
  2k but not often at all. I do not have HT or an FTB.
  
  But at 55 my +1 M4 toxic dual rods gave 2390 skill damage.
  At 55 also, a +1 toxic pentachord Hk gave 2558 skill damage.
  I was 170 / 30 / INT then as well. I looked at the screenshots
  and compared them. Pentachord owns, bottom line... dual
  blades REALLY ARE NOT MUCH FASTER THAN PENTACHORD, NO
  MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS... THEIR AREA SKILLS JUST
  RECHARGE A BIT FASTER!!!

  Heres my take on Dual Blades and Pentachords
  
  I use Blades for Grinding.. theyre quicker, bottomline. They take out mobs faster with good quick aoe combos.
  
  I use Pent and Blades in PvP. Evil Slasher (Dual Blade, Divine Skill) pwns. Its quick, and its enough to 1 hit in PvP. But, Pent PWNS Damage, no doubt.
  
  So what it comes down to is.. personal choice.
  
  I chose Blades.. because I grind more than I PvP.

• try a average with 10 hits on mobs.
  
  Penta skills are strongest, with same weapon penta skill show more stats in skils.

• Personally I think dual blades are overrated.
  Heres why:
  
  Dual blade (100 STR 30 DEX 259 INT)
  +3 violet dual blade SAR
  ~2100 SDMG
  
  Pentachord (100 STR 30 DEX 259 INT)
  +3 violet pentachord SAR
  ~2500 SDMG
  
  Plus, with BOTH pentachord AND dual blade, you get
  4 area skills before level 60.
  
  Dual blades are not much faster than pentachord at
  all and much weaker. Criticals are insane on penta.
  I hit 3326 as my max with 2500 SDMG. Pentachord
  I hit 2672 as my max with 2100 SDMG. Dual blade
  
  I did this at level 56.
  
  Bottom line: GO WITH PENTACHORD!

  pentachord has higher damange

• Dual Blade rocks for her...am lvl 44 only but feel that dual blade is better than pentachord...
