Title: Manual Patch issue/ Helping with auto update.

Once you have installed the most recent manual patch.

1. Go to the Windows start menu and go to run. Type regedit.

2.Once the menu appears go to HKEY_Local_ Machine tab and under software look for the Hero Online folder. Once you click on the folder you should see version at the bottom of the list.

3. Right click on version and select modify. Another menu will open and select Decimal, make sure that this number is the current version that you just installed.

4. Close the regedit menu and launch Hero Online again. The client should auto update without an issue. If you continue to have this issue please send a 1:1 inquiry so we can further assist you.

  I right click on my friend and I on the party, but the message to my friend accepting party does not appear ...

- What a disppointment.
  
  wat is this year 2010 xmas event is about
  
  and the GM fishtail come and ask 2 question and give out 2 item .
  
  are he rushing home or he just say " yeah *** hero i just quick run through 2 question just to cover my paper work "
  
  Wat is disgrace and a huge disappointment.
  
  i though this year xmas event will be better than last year.
  
  this xmas event is way worst than Socks event and all the pass year xmas event.
  
  Hero is really going down hill
  
  Gm should make a event where any level can benefit from.
  
  example monster summon -> only high level can benefit due to only them can kill the boss
  
  all this years spending ncash and time on hero i think i have to re-consider again .
  
  stop spending my time on this game which doesnt have a furture .
  
  SORY NET GAME - u dont get my vote this year
  
  i m moving on ..... hope those that stay THINK twice about hero .

- yeah.. im on patch 384... i manually installed and extracted patches 376-384... i transferred them to the hero folder which i got to from my C drive folder... then i did the regedit thing.. but i couldn't find a decimal menu..... please help.. i havent played in days, and im going crazy! lol

- When I`m autoupdating from the client , server kicks me.
  
  How to install the patch?
  
  I copied all files from the patch to the game directory.
  
  Patch 316.

  but when im download patch 37/50 (patch 316.zip)
  
  i get an error halfway thru sayin connection lost

- Theres another way:
  
  1- Download the manual patch you want from the download page
  
  2- Install it
  
  3- Go to C:\Mgame\Common\
  
  4- Open "Hero.ini" and type the patch number youve just installed in the version line [thats line 8].
  
  Hope it helped...

- Help for Windows Vista Users:
  
  -Right-click on your desktop shortcut for the game client (not for website)
  
  -Select "Properties" at the bottom of the list
  
  -Look at the tabs at the top of the dialog box, select "Compatability"
  
  -Look at bottom for a check-box called "Run this program as administrater"
  
  -Check that box and select "Apply" and "Ok" to close the box
  
  -Now run the client like normal and it should update
  
  I had to do this to get mine to update after installing the client. Remember this for future reference with other games and programs. I have to do this a lot for programs that say "Windows XP Only"

- Problem with patch 261, tried you method does not work, and 1:1 has not worked for weeks. It says info not valid, tried a few accounts same thing. was able to play but 1:1 dont work on any of them :(

- Yeah if you change values to 261 it does no good b/c it has to be already installed and you still cant access this patch anywhere except the autodownloader as far as I can tell lol its not on on the d/l page. It just says incorrect version and closes Hero after editing values to 261 WHERE CAN WE MANUALLY DOWNLOAD THIS PATCH????? (and why should we even be having to do this is another question)....knight online, hero online = weakest customer support in online gaming

- hi GM i isntalled the patch and everything seem good but when i logged in and chose the server then i clicked on my char and try to get into the game a windows pups and says to make a bug report because of an error the i clicked in mae a bug report and it made it but it closs the game plzz tell me how i can play ty

  Ive installed the game, and its making auto update from 222 to 268 without any problem... then its starts to download the 269 patch and after its done it says it faild to extract it.. I tried to download it manualy, but when i extracting it by my self, its still having alot of errors..
  
  i tried to read here for some advices, but i didnt find that c"ommon folder", its missing.. and when i tried the "regedit" action, its written there "ver 222" althought, when i open the luncher, its written ver 268, and downloading the 269 patch...
  
  any help plz? :\
